This stone is probably a firm favourite for a lot of people. I mean we can understand why!
The beautiful labradorescence is such a stunning feature making it truly a magical stone.
Where was labradorite found? Labradorite was found in Labrador, Canada. Home of maple syrup, hockey and the Aurora Borealis (Northern lights).
What is Labradorite?
Labradorite is a calcium enriched feldspar mineral. This stone has a MoH’s scale of 6-6.5. Labradorite is also a stone that displays many colours of green, yellow, orange, blue and sometimes purple.
How does this stone make these colours?
The colours are caused by Labradorescence and that is caused by many tiny fissures in the stone. When the light hits those fissures that is how the beautiful colours are created.
Can you tell me the properties of Labradorite?
Yes, I can. This stone is truly a magical stone and is believed to help those with transformations and guide you through change. It also may be helpful in raising spiritual awareness and promoting psychic abilities and strengthening your intuition making this a great stone for a new witch. Labradorite can calm an overactive mind and help with banishing fears and insecurities and encourage you to trust and have faith in the universe.
